I want to open a Small Cafe/Bakery/Cake Decorating business. Where do I start? What exactly do I have to do?
I know I have to make a business plan but I’m not sure where to start and how much will it cost. Also where can I buy the equipments for cheap?
I looked at Ebay.. the shipping thing kills me a bit.. I can’t apply for a loan until i’m sure what I’m doing. I can’t seem to find a business that’s selling (what i’m offering would be one of a kind in my town, for now at least).. Can you recommend any good accountant in Detroit area? Can anyone tell me will this business help me getting into a decent MBA program?
One of the first things you want to do is decide on an hourly charge for your services. You will need to make a cost estimate and list everything that will cost you; Rent, marketing and advertising, supplies and time.
Once you do this, you will need to price your items and services. You need to have a profit, so compare your cost/charge with competitors.
Check EBay for reasonable rates on the things you will need and keep all of your receipts for the end of the years. You will get a tax break!
