Are these good shoulderpads?
Bike BASH71 QB/WR X-Treme Lite Shoulder Pad -
I know they are foam, and lightweight. I play receiver… would you be afraid to get hit by a linebacker while running a slant in these, or are they built to protect just as well as the good plastic pads?
I’m worried about crackin’ a rib or something. Is it gonna happen if I go over the middle?
Light is speed, speed is good. As a former college wide receiver, it is seldom the shoulders that hurt after getting hit by a linebacker. Unless you are blocking, which actually will happen, foam will be great most of the time.
