So after watching all his cool tricks throughout the whole show I thought we were going to see something spectacular at the end. Instead, he casts off into the night with a harness on his back. Where was the dive? I thought he was going to jump down and something huge would appear on the stage, while he disappears. Just the feat of hanging upside down for 3 days was amazing, catching the bullet was just crazy, and all of his street magic is jaw dropping.

Don’t get me wrong I love all of David Blaine’s magic tricks and illusions but the anticipated final trick kind of left me hanging a bit. I felt that he was hanging on the safety wire and a crane pulled him away into the dark. I was just expecting more to the act at the end of the show. It kind of felt like it ended abruptly, from the live audience I think they were expecting more to the show as well. Maybe someone has a better explaination of the trick or what happened but I just wasn’t competely stunned by that finale.

Here’s a little debate I had while watching the show. Who’s better, David Blaine or Criss Angel? They both have their own swagger and appeal. I think they are both amazing magicians and illusionists. While David Blaine being the more laid back mysterious personality, Criss Angel has that super interactive more flashy style to his acts.
